Let's take a moment to look back on our recent Tech Execs Meetup, "Did AI solve the friction between Product and Engineering?" The age-old gap between Product and Engineering is closing, but maybe not how you'd expect, and we came together to ask whether AI is finally solving the friction or just automating the misunderstandings. The evening centered on a panel discussion with Pavel Šafařík (Head of Product, Bloomreach) and Jan Červinka (Managing Director & CTO, Purple Technology), opened up to the whole community. Together we explored AI as the new alignment layer for testing ideas and reducing endless back-and-forth before code is written, the "One-Pizza" reality of blurring roles as PMs explore technical feasibility faster and engineers get closer to product thinking, code as an open book that removes the "black box" barrier between the two teams, and the productivity illusion, asking whether we're solving user problems faster or just generating technical debt at unprecedented speed. As always, the panel gave way to open discussion and plenty of space for connection. Thank you to everyone who joined us.
