(Re)boot Camp vol. 2

June 10, 2026

Let's take a moment to look back on our second Reboot Camp, two days at Prčice castle where dozens of tech leaders, CTOs, and AI experts put their phones away and turned to the most fragile thing in any company: people and energy. Far from cloud-architecture bragging or endless prompt battles, the group created a safe, open space to talk honestly about fatigue, burnout, and how hard it is to balance the board's expectations with the rest of life. The program was built to give participants a break from the daily pressure to deliver, with sessions from Šimon Steffal on leading difficult conversations, Adam Kulhánek on mental resilience, Nela Ďopanová of Fpohybu on performing without burning out, Petr Burian on hard-won leadership lessons, and Marek Velas of EDUpunk on spotting real potential in your people. AI ran through every informal conversation as well, but here the talk went past LinkedIn clichés and straight to what actually matters, often carrying on deep into the night. Thursday morning brought a literal reboot, as biohacker Libor Mattuš, the Ice Man, had three tubs of ice water waiting in the courtyard before a session on breath, focus, and stress management, and the camp closed with a final mentoring session with Michal Klaček of STRV in the castle garden. The retreat was a powerful reminder that the future of tech leadership rests not just on who writes the better prompt, but on the people and the community behind the work.
